2024 Alaska Road Trip (Day 44)
This journal posting chronicles Day 44 of a road trip to Alaska and back with Diane, Kenny and Deneen.
Day 44 - Monday August 5th
Today we drove from Pine Lake Campground to the Yukon Motel & Restaurant and RV Park, for a total of 209 miles/336 km.
Sunrise at Pine Lake Campground was 5:57 AM and sunset at the Yukon Motel & Restaurant and RV Park was 10:09 PM.
Just another day on the road in the Yukon.

There is not much out here except the road.

When we arrived at the Yukon Motel & Restaurant and RV Park, upon checking in they assigned us a site. The sites do not have sewer but they have a dump station so we went there first. While doing that, Deneen walked down to check out the site and found that someone else was in it. So after finishing at the dump station I went back in and asked what they wanted us to do. They let us go out and choose what site we wanted so we picked one with more separation than most. The other problem was that the water was out, because they were doing some maintenance, but they promised it would be back on this evening. It did eventually come back around 5 PM or so.
